My classroom consists of students with diverse backgrounds and varying educational needs. I am constantly reflecting on my teaching and modifying my instruction to best meet the needs of each of my students. A large number of my students are reading below grade level. My goal as a teacher is to encourage the growth of every student, for each of them to see the potential I see in them, and to achieve goals they once thought were impossible. I want my students to take pride in hard work, seek pride in their achievements, and to be eager to learn and grow together in my classroom every single day.
