Because of the importance of interactive learning, we are slowly working toward having one-to-one technology for every student; however, we are currently at a three-to-one ratio. For my students to be globally competitive, we need to increase our number of Chromebooks in a more timely fashion. Two-to-one Chromebook ratio will allow students to utilize programs, resources, assignments, and interactive experiences more frequently and for longer periods of time. Our current science curriculum is web-based, which brings experiments to the classroom that would otherwise not be possible. In addition, when students explore open-ended questions, they need to apply both imagination and logic, which helps with their decision-making process. More computers means more individualized student learning. Sharing a Chromebook between two students (instead of three) enables more interactive learning for longer periods of time. Thank you for your support!
