We are a middle school serving 620 students in grades 6 - 8 in a small town in the eastern US. We have a diverse student population with approximately 20% minority including African-American, Hispanic, Micronesian, Indian (from India), Ethiopian, Pakistani, Asian, and Russian. A little over 50% of our students are on free and reduced lunch. Our students come from all over our county, many from outside of our specific school district. They come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We are known for encouraging our students to work as a family to support each others' successes both in the classroom and in extracurricular pursuits. Our dedicated teachers work as a team to help each student be the the best that they can in the classroom and in life.
