These games and activities will help make word building and rhyming activities more hands-on and engaging to my students. Students will use the blocks to make words while having fun at the same time. My students love blocks of any kind, and I know they will love these activities. Word work is an essential part of the learning process in a first grade classroom. My students will have fun learning and manipulating words with these activities while also strengthening literacy skills. They will also strengthen fine motor skills while building. My students will be more actively engaged in the learning process with the Snap-Together Letter Blocks and Word Building Blocks in this project.
