My school is over 93% free and reduce lunch, which equates to a high poverty level. The student's achievement is increased by whole group and small group instruction, which we do every day. In our classroom we also do child centered activities, which incorporates technology such as computers, Chromebooks and smartboards. Most of my children do not have access to the internet or even the equipment to assess the internet in their homes. Having these items and using them at school is essential for them growing up in the 21st century.
