My students are mostly from Southern Louisiana. Some are Cajuns, but we also have a very diverse group of African-Americans, Native-Americans, Asians, and Caucasians. In addition, my school is an arts academy so the arts are an emphasis. We have a great band, a guitar program. a choir, a strings department, theater, and dance. I have great students who are delightful to teach. They love projects and hearing me tell stories about my travels around the world. I am a world history teacher.
