My students range from the ages of 3 to 5 years old. They come to my school through programs such as Child Find. Often, my students come with the label of Developmentally Delayed or Autism Spectrum Disorder. I help build my students language and social skills through accommodations, modifications, and prompting. My students also get services in school which include Language therapy to support their communication. Visuals are a form of prompting that help my students understand directions and build independence. Visuals can be hand made, made on the computer, or found in applications on tablets. These visuals are manipulated into games to promote and support receptive communication, expressive communication, and social skills between peer and also between students and adults.
