They are students from 1st to 5th grade. For most of them, it's the first time singing, even in a group! So we are still experimenting with our vocal cords and body. For many of the students, this activity is their only opportunity to have a real connection with music and be involved in such a real environment. The activity is conducted in Spanish, but some of my students only speak English! It is even more challenging for them. The first concert is on its way and the first notes have already come out of their mouths. We try, we tune, we repeat, we start all together...and here it is: the first notes of our song are coming!
