I see every student in our school once a week. Students come to me for a 45 minute session. During that time I introduce them to a new STEM concept, show them their materials/equipment and give them a challenge. They spend their remaining class time working towards a solution. This is our first year using a STEM curriculum with our students. They love the new challenges and get very excited about learning the new concepts. We've been exploring different Math lessons, Science theories and even begun computer coding lessons. So far the school has been pooling supplies and asking for donations to work on our Science projects. I would love for my students to have ample supplies without having to worry about running out of things. They will benefit from having complete kits with everything needed included.
