My class is very diverse...from students with learning disabilities to gifted learners. My class is equally divided with girls and boys. They are energetic and excited learners. They give me their best everyday! Several of my students are from homes that are in great financial need. They do not have access to new books or transportation to the local library. My parents are involved and they try their best but when you have to decide between a new book or food on the table...well you know the answer to that question.
