My students will have the opportunity to take daily photos of the clouds and submit these photos to the NASA project "S’COOL Students’ Cloud Observation Online." These classroom digital cameras will help my students be more aware of outdoor learning, and they will also be enthusiastic about Science. With this project, the students will recognize the relationship between the clouds and the weather. We will collect data (cloud type, height, cover and related conditions), and then we will send these observations to NASA for comparison to similar information obtained from satellite. This project will validate satellite data and give NASA the complete picture of clouds in the atmosphere and their interactions with other parts of the integrated global Earth system.
