I have an outstanding group of students. One group,my Auto 2 class that meets for one hour a day, five days a week. The second group is my advances Auto 3 and 4 students, they meet for two hours a day, five days a week. Both groups of students love challenges. This 1984 Trans Am project is a big challenge, not because of the work that needs to be completed, but the money needed for the project. The school district has no funds for this type of project. The students have called different companies for support. Some have help this project tremendously. They have looked at different way of raising money for this project. This isn't easy, but they haven't stopped. The students want to show what they can do with the skills they have learned in the automotive class. They love doing this type of work and they are taking pride in the work of building up this Trans Am. Not only their personal pride, but their pride in their school and the community.
