We are in need of more books to add to our classroom library, giving students the resources they need to carry out our goal of reading two-three books a week. This will help our students increase their reading levels which will lead students to flourish in the other academic subjects. In order to foster a comfortable space for students to read, it is my plan to create a reading corner next to our classroom's library. This reading nook will consist of mini bean bag chairs and a classroom rug. The bean bag chairs and rug will be sanitized with Lysol in between each usage and so will our classroom library books. We are also requesting printing paper, which will be used to make copies of book reports and interactive phonics, reading comprehension activities (packets) for our students.
