I am a new teacher to at this elementary school this year, and as a new teacher I have no classroom library. My students are eager learners and I want to focus on using reading as a relaxing tool as well as a learning tool. They will need captivating books to keep their interest and to break up their technology centered days. We will be using Epic! reading, but we will only have access to chrombooks every other day. Thus, we need good books within our reach! Students will use books during assigned SSR time as well as during assigned reading homework. They will take AR tests to track their reading progress. These classroom library books will make a difference to students who had a tumultuous time in 4th grade.
