I teach science to one class each of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who are in a program for students who meet or exceed the academic standards in all areas. My students are inquisitive and motivated learners. They love science and enjoy hands-on investigations. They are great math students, too. They enjoy engineering in my class. They are smart and creative. Our school is a Title One school / district in a border town. We have many students who speak English as a second language. We have motivated teachers who work very hard to find and implement the best strategies to help our students to learn. I am very proud to have worked at this school my entire teaching career (24 years and counting).
