Emotional regulation is the ability to manage your emotions and behavior. It is important in the development of children and helps them with their learning. When a child is dysregulated they cannot handle frustration without an outburst. One way to help manage emotions and behavior is through exercise. Yoga can help calm and center students while HIIT helps with self-regulation. By creating an Emotional-Regulation Room students with self-regulation issues or an entire classroom can go and enjoy some calming yoga or high-intensity interval training. The yoga mats, bluetooth speaker, storage baskets, lavatools and books will be used in the room. Please help us create a space where our kids can move around and manage stress.
