Kindergarten is an amazing and extremely rewarding grade to teach. I receive a variety of students ranging from those with no academic exposure to those who are beginning to read. Most of my students come from low income homes and have not been taught to prioritize education. I also have several Special Education Students in my class each year. Each year my students make soaring gains in their abilities. I would like to provide them exposure to as many experiences as possible to apply their knowledge and broaden their horizons. This exposure will help them set and work toward personal goals. Please help me provide experiences for these children they may otherwise never have.
