My students need a variety of seating options due to their diverse learning styles so they are able to maximize their full academic potential. Allowing my students to have flexible seating will unlock their full academic potential. The alternative style seating will promote many positive situations in my classroom. First, it will allow for students to take ownership of their learning. Flexible seating will also allow students to become more independent as thinkers in the classroom. This type of seating also allows for students to feel as if they are part of a community. Students will be able to sit on an exercise ball and bounce while using their brain to their fullest potential, or sit on the bean bag and have a more relaxed setting while learning. It's all about promoting a love of learning in a community of choice.
