The students are of varied ethnic and social economic groups blended together in this small island community. Their reading levels and math skills range from well below to meets proficiency with excellence. I feel confident saying that a child's learning is best accomplished when instruction takes place in their learning style. It is a challenge to reach all learning styles with limited technology. An important part of my job as a classroom teacher is to engage the mind of every student.
