The purchase of these calculators are to benefit my students. We are a rural K-8 school. The purchase of these calculators will allow for my students to have access to calculators to help develop their calculator skills. If we receive funding for these, this will allow for all my students to receive their own individual calculator. This should reduce the risk of possible contamination during the pandemic. Proper calculator skills are very important for our developing young learners. Developing proper learning habits are very important. Development and familiarity of these skills are very important prior to testing.
