These disc golf baskets will be a fun addition to our middle school P.E. program. Students will learn the basic rules of golf while learning a new sport that rewards concentration and practice. Our school has a goal of producing well-rounded athletes going into high school. Students will expand their horizons and move beyond the traditional sports and try a new sport. Our school has an in school sports program for football, softball, and basketball. Our students love having game day Friday's and competing with other local schools. This program does not fill the whole school year and we are always looking for ways to include new P.E. units that are fun, engaging, and easy to set up. Disc golf checks all of these boxes. Mobile disc baskets will allow me to constantly change the course and make the game playable for all students. I look forward to providing this new sport to my students.
