These fun and engaging materials are needed for my busy and curious students. My students have different ability and interest levels so I need to make sure they have lots of choices. My young students learn through play and discovery and the books with felt characters will allow them to participate in story retelling which helps with comprehension and holds their attention. First and foremost, I want to instill in my students a love for reading. I want my students to have choices for books in our classroom that are age appropriate as well as interesting.
