John P. Freeman is part of the public school sector with the feel of a private school. The school is a K-8 middle school that performs at a college level. My students enjoy hands-on projects and lab activities. They are excited about science and learning new concepts. The students are required to use their higher-level thinking skills to analyze data and concepts to draw conclusions. During stations and projects some students are hindered because of limited access to computers. Students enjoy the virtual labs but have trouble manipulating the program because all are not equipped with adequate technology.
