Throughout my 20 years of teaching, computers, ipads, and phones have changed our educational landscape as well as the students' experiences. Many of my students have access to ipads and phones but not blocks. I have seen how the lack of hands on experiences affects student learning. By having Shape-O-Metry, Think Fun Shape by Shape, and Think Fun Block by Block in our classroom, I'm hoping to bring back some hands on experiences and maybe even create some future engineers! By donating, you will help our classroom have materials that encourage spatial reasoning skills. This will help the students increase their problem solving and critical thinking skills that are necessary to be successful in school and in the work force.
