Students at the STEM Early High School are talented, creative and have true passion for learning. The school is a a small one with a diverse population and students generally relate to each other with the kind of familiarity usually shared among family members or relatives. They are generally in school from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm each day engaging in various academic tasks. Extra-curricular activities are not offered, as students share the building with a high school, and often times there are scheduling clashes. It is also difficult as the two groups of students (from the middle and high school) must be kept separate at all times. Students are desperately in need of an outlet for expression and the Art Club will go a long way in helping them further develop or unearth latent creative talents.
