I pride myself in the environment that I create in my classroom for my students. Every student is different, and they all have different needs. So often their choices are made for them, and they are not given the opportunity to problem solve on their own. With this gift in our room, comes the gift of choice. These "wobble chairs" from Lakeshore Learning will not only help motivate my students while keeping them engaged, but they will also gain health benefits from just choosing to sit in these chairs! Every child deserves their first classroom to be one they will remember for a lifetime. Kindergarten is often the first memory children have of school, the year that will set the tone for the rest of their educational path. With these new options for seating, I know that my students will not only remember what they learned, but how they learned.
