Do you want to know what your child is doing in school? Since we are limited on copies and textbooks, the students are able to create different products on the computers. My students are a wonderful group of 2nd and 3rd graders from many different cultural backgrounds. Many of them are struggling readers who are reading below grade level. They are very enthusiastic, full of energy, and are eager to learn. When students come to my classroom they feel welcome and become part of a family of learners. They come from different backgrounds and have many different needs. All of them come with a growth mindset and are ready to learn the English language which can be a very hard task for ELL students. I try my best every year to reach all of them and through your funding I have been able to do that. Thank you for helping me make a difference in the lives of my students who will become our future leaders.
