Currently, my students are fortunate enough to have Chromebooks and iPads available for our use daily. While our school is working towards 1:1 devices for students in the near future, for now, we have enough Chromebooks and iPads for every 3 students. In order for students to gain the 21st century skills that they need, I know it is important to provide many opportunities for them to interact and learn on these devices. A Chromebook cart and iPad charging station will ensure that the devices we do have are charged and ready to use every day in our classroom! Right now, charging the devices is not only a mess of tangled cords and scattered power strips, but also a major safety hazard. Consolidating the devices into one portable station will ensure that they are safe and ready for use everyday! Eventually, when we get enough devices for every student, we will be really ready to roll!
