I am at a wonderful school in a low socio-economic community. Their economic status does not become an excuse because the students perform better than other students in the state of New Mexico. Our school was awarded a Blue ribbon of excellence because of the hard work and dedication. Each of my students are English-language learners and work hard to learn their second language. Currently my students are learning about characters and stories and took it upon themselves to choose this book to read.
