"Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states." (Carol Welch) My 3rd grade students are eager learners who respond well to movement reinforced learning. They are social and inquisitive, looking to answer all the questions that cross their minds throughout their day. They enjoy working in groups and support each other as needs arise. Our school supports action based learning, inquiry, project based learning, and other 21st century principals to connect students authentically to their peers, environment and learning journey. We are a school that looks at learners as individuals who will grow through various modalities and be positive contributions to the changing world they are in. Our staff continues to actively seek out ways to nurture and engage every student while being supported by a positive and involved parent community.
