Readers Rock Readers Rule! Readers Rock, Readers Rule, Weekly Readers are really cool. Bright pages that really engages. Taps the brain for mucho learning. With Times for Kids we're sure to win, these two 'zines makes learning fun again. Every month, palms are itching, "Can't wait to get the latest edition!" We haven't had the opportunity to sing our chant this year because ordering our favorite educational magazines was not in the budget. When your school is located in an impoverished, inner-city charter school, like mine is, its viability is based on how well students perform on standardized assessments. As an educator, who is passionate about changing lives through education, I understand the emphasis on state tests, but as a humanitarian, my heart knows that our children will truly succeed when they fall in love with learning.
