Many of my students come from low income families or are ESL. These whiteboards and whiteboard table would help me as the teacher to check their understanding of new content being taught. Often times students need to have a space where they can work out problems and not be afraid to make mistakes. Having the whiteboards in the classroom would give them a space where they can work out problems and easily erase mistakes without tearing their paper or using up the erasers on their pencils on one math problem. I also plan to use the whiteboards in small groups when they are pulled to my table for some extra help. White boards are a great way to keep all of my students engaged during my whole group and small group lessons. During the end of my day we have an Excel block, where students get on Moby Max to complete various assignments. Often times students like to have headphones so they can hear the volume on their computer. I am requesting a class set of headphones so that every student can have access to the volume on their computer during this Excel block. During this Excel block it is very important to me as the teacher to make sure that my ESL students aren't falling behind because of language barriers in regards to vocabulary. These whiteboards are perfect for my to check their understanding on a weekly basis.
