My students are noticeably more engaged in the lesson when they are doing hands on engineering projects. The students are actively involved in the engineering design model and learning about the careers in Engineering. By giving them hands on experience this career pathway will be more exciting and adventurous for each student. By using the kits will allow me to not only tell them what engineering is and explaining that engineers don't just build things, students will actually get the oppourtunity to do hands on real life engineering projects that will activate their curiousity in this career.
