This is a second grade classroom where students are beginning to find their love of reading. They are finding "good fit" books and learning responsibility and organization. My students are engaged in learning and working in small groups in math and reading to achieve their goals they have set for the school year. Book boxes and a book display in the classroom will set my students up for achieving their goal in reading. By adding additional hands on resources such as the Hot Dot flash cards, my students will receive additional support in the different concepts regarding mathematics (place value, money, and time).

About my class
