My school is located in a low-income community in the suburbs of Illinois. We are a K-6 building that has a mix of students. I work with students in Kindergarten through 6th grade that are in need of reading support services. These students come from various backgrounds and have varied experiences outside of school, so I try to make their time spent with me focused and fun while also aiming to improving their overall reading skills.
