My class is full of eager learners. They are committed to becoming better readers and have begun building reading stamina by reading to self and buddies. We have only been in school for 22 days, but we have built our read to self stamina up to 25 minutes! My students are so proud of themselves! Each night they take home a "just right" book to read to their families. We are a relatively small school with a focus on building community.
