Thanks for considering a donation to my class projects! My students are lifelong computer users, so I try to give them a different perspective on technology. We do a lot of hands-on activities - in the picture, we're making motherboards out of Legos, so that they experience the computer as a machine and have a deep understanding of exactly what makes a digital device work. When you support my projects, you're supporting the idea that all students deserve an opportunity to explore computer science before high school. My role in this class is to provide exciting experiences that turn young people on to CS whether it's going to be as a career, field of study, hobby or just a more enlightened appreciation of the technology around us.
