My students are at the beginning and end of their high school careers. My Geometry students are freshmen being introduced to higher level math. They are highly motivated and are eager to learn. The ability to enhance the visual nature of geometry through the use of the smart board engages the students at a high level. The iMac allows for these students to access pictures and even are able to manipulate the screen to see relationships between different shapes, as well as construct shapes. My statistics students are college bound seniors electing to be in statistics as an elective, it is not mandatory. They discover the formal statistical process to obtaining, organizing, summarizing data and the conclusions that can be drawn from the data. At the years end, they create their own experiment, draw conclusions and present their findings to the class. The Imac computer will greatly enhance their performance in this task. It also allows them to see demonstrations daily.
