My classroom is very diverse which makes for lots of fun and sharing of personal experiences. Our school is a Title One school so my children come from many different backgrounds. They are a funny group and I am never surprised by their cute comments. Sometimes their stories are heart wrenching but that's why I love being there for them and putting laughter and love in their life. I have one student this year that wants seconds of every snack we have because he is always hungry and wants to bring one home to his baby brother that doesn't have snacks. The challenging students are my favorites because you have to figure out what works for them and how to motivate them.
