My first grade students are naturally active. Children ranging from 5-7 years old always need to be on the move to be motivated and engaged in their learning. My school is a large school with over 700 students. Our classroom enrollment is usually high with 20-22 students per year. Classroom management is so important when numbers are this high. We feel so lucky to have students enrolling in our incredible school because of the positive, optimistic and fun learning environment we have. Students in our school come from very diverse backgrounds. We have large number of students who come from low-income families. We make school a place they want to come back to every day. We have an incredibly energetic principal and assistant principal who know the names of every student on our huge campus. We are a blessed staff to be lead but such wonderful people. This positivity reflects through our students. Each teacher that works on our campus loves their job and has a passion for teaching.
