Our school is located in an economically deficient section of Boston. Our student population consists of mostly minority students from disadvantaged households. A large portion of my students are English language learners, with Spanish, Portuguese, or Vietnamese being the predominant language spoken in the home. The school is currently in its first year of state receivership, meaning the state has taken over its management due to consistently low performance. With a staff of new teachers we are trying to upgrade students to a world class and globally minded education. The largest challenge to helping these students achieve their greatest potential is a lack of classroom technology. With your donation we can bridge the technological gap and help build our students global, social, and academic mindset.
