How would you feel if you could not communicate with your teachers at school? My students who are new to the United States, feel this frustration daily when they are trying to communicate with their teachers, and classmates and no one understands them. My students are English Language Learners in grades 6-8. Almost all of my students receive free or reduced lunch. My students are eager learners with a great sense of humor. All the students want is to be able to communicate with all of their classmates and have everyone be able to understand what they are saying.
