Students at our school learn what the notes on the staff are, but they don’t understand what each note really means. Using xylophones will give each student the connection between seeing a note on a staff and hearing what it sounds like on an instrument. Please help me purchase this soprano xylophone so the students can connect the notes with a sound. They will also have the opportunity to participate in an orchestra type experience as they play this while other students play other instruments. Image the creative process each student will get to go through as they play music already written and also create their own music.
