I work at a Technical School and teach real life experiences to a class of 18-22 year old young adults with disabilities. The instruction ranges from recreational activities to job skills, and daily living skills. They are my students for four very short years. At the age of 18 they begin their journey not knowing what is ahead of them. At the end of the 4 years they emerge strong and confident. It is amazing to see how much they grow in the 4 years that they are with me. It warms my heart to know that at the end of the four years they have accomplished so much.
