The children of mostly enlisted military service members attend our Florida school. This 'new' charter school has opened as a result of the district trying to shut down the community school. Tremendous family, volunteer and community support is not quite enough to renovate a school AND purchase all the student needed supplies. We focus on highly differentiated instruction and our student turnover is ~30% as a result of military orders. As a military spouse, the population is typical of the schools I will serve in throughout career.
