Many of my students go home worried about their next meal. I have several who go home to empty houses because their parent is having to work multiple jobs to keep the house. My students are not worried about learning, they are trying to survive. I have to make Science exciting and easy. I have to show them the way out of their current situations. I do not use textbooks. We only use Interactive Notebooks. Many of my students do not read on grade level so I have to make the content accessible to them. I have been very successful with interactive notebooks over the last couple of years. I need supplies to continue. Please help us make Biology FUN and keep our motto: Everyone can succeed! The amount of work it takes for success is the only thing that makes my students different from others.
