When students walk into my classroom in the morning they are greeted with a handshake and a smile. Things as simple as these are life skills that many of my students do not receive outside our classroom. I work in a Title 1 school where 100% of students receive free lunch. I have many students in my classroom that come from various disadvantaged situations. There are also several English Languages Learners in our class. These different barriers make it challenging to meet todays standards in education when we do not have the technology to provide them with the individualized instruction they desperately need.
