My students need wobble chairs, floor cushion and seats. Students are busier than ever, yet teaching and classroom expectations remain the same. We expect our 5 year olds to sit in a chair to learn, when that isn’t necessarily what they need. Students deserve the right to have a choice in how they learn. For some, that may by your traditional table and chairs, however, for others it may be sprawled out on the floor, standing at a counter, or wobbling in a stool. I am committed to giving my students a choice in how they learn. I want my students to be able to be comfortable, yet successful. With this project I will be able to transform my classroom into one of collaboration, smiles and success.
