My school is the first public STEM school developed in our rural border county. Agriculture is a very important part of our community. Many of our families choose our school because of our emphasis on science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as rigorous instruction. Reading and writing are taught through these STEM subjects and technology is integrated throughout the day in our classrooms. These subjects are vitally important to encourage our students to continue to be curious, self-motivated learners, and prepare them for bright futures in productive careers. Our students love the science exploration and the opportunity to be creative in engineering that our school provides.
