My students are typical 6th grade students. They are loud, funny, awkward, emotional and sometimes crazy. I love each one of them and their unique personalities. Like many students in today's world, my students face many challenges in their personal lives daily. They are a product of their environments and some of them have extreme behavioral problems. My school district doesn't have the funding for extra art supplies needed in classrooms. Everyone from the janitors to lunch workers, secretaries, teachers, and our wonderful principal work hard to give our students the best education possible. Unfortunately, it is not enough.

About my class
